Why we built it
Random video chat has not meaningfully changed since 2009. The interfaces improved; the core problem did not. Queues stayed unbalanced and the industry converged on the same response — charge for a filter and let the underlying imbalance stand. We thought the queue itself was the thing to fix, and that fixing it required paying the side of the queue everyone else takes for granted. That is the whole thesis of the product, and you can judge it against every competitor we compare ourselves to.
What we will not do
Worth stating, because the category has a credibility problem and most of it is self-inflicted. We do not display fabricated online-user counts. We do not run bot accounts to pad a thin queue. We do not publish invented testimonials or star ratings. If you have used random chat platforms for any length of time you have encountered all three, and you probably assume everyone does it. We would rather compete on the one number that is real.
We also will not claim the ratio holds perfectly at every hour in every region, because it does not. It is a target the queue is actively steered toward, and the creator programme exists to hold it during the hours when that is hardest.
